The purpose of this study is to review immunohistochemical methods for diagnosing cervical pathology associated with human papillomavirus.
Materials and methods. To search for a literature review, the following keywords were used: immunohistochemistry (IHC), human papillomavirus (HPV), cervical cancer. The inclusion criteria set the time frame from 2015 to 2022. Publications were searched according to these criteria on the following platforms: Web of Science, elibrary.ru. The results of the analysis of data presented in scientific articles were included in the final text of the review.
Results. The article presents immunohistochemical diagnostic methods, expression of Ki-67 and p16/INK4a markers in the diagnosis of cervical diseases in HPV-associated diseases.
Conclusions. The additional use of IHC studies with Ki-67 and P16/INK4a markers increases the information content of the standard histological examination of cervical biopsy specimens and contributes to the development of adequate tactics for the treatment of patients, especially women of reproductive age.
