This article discusses the current modern problems of differential diagnosis of Dementia.
The focus of the article is on the reversibility of cognitive impairment in timely diagnosis using instrumental and laboratory methods of examining the patient's condition.
Setting the correct type of Dementia will give the practicing neurologist the opportunity to improve the cognitive abilities of the patient, and if the diagnosis has not yet been made, then due to timely visualization of instrumental data, a picture of laboratory parameters and objective data of interdisciplinary specialists, prevent the appearance of such symptoms and do preventive work.
