Bronchial asthma (BA) is a common human disease of great social and economic importance due to the persistent incidence and mortality from this disease throughout the world, as well as a long period of temporary disability, frequent disability and high cost of patient treatment. The study of the epidemiological features of AD helps to improve approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. The article reflects the results of an epidemiological study on the prevalence and incidence of asthma for 2019-2021 in the Republic of Mordovia depending on gender, age and disease structure.
