the characteristics and features of the methodology for accounting for the number of game animals are given. The role of protected areas in the conservation of biological diversity is considered, the current state and dynamics of the number of game animals within the protected areas are analyzed. Conducted biotechnical measures within the reserve are analyzed. The territorial structure and status of protected areas are described
