In light of the development of areas such as wireless sensor networks and IoT, the question arises of efficient energy storage using small, efficient and rechargeable autonomous power sources - supercapacitors. This article explores the issue of charging such capacitive energy storage devices. For the first time, an analytical comparison of charges with constant current, constant voltage and constant power was made for a limited time and maximum charging power. A method for evaluating the efficiency of the charging process is proposed, using a simulation model that takes into account the current consumed by the load, the power of the power source and the charging time.
