Non-variceal gastroduodenal bleeding is an actual problem of modern emergency surgery. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy is the main method for diagnosing this pathology, and endoscopic hemostasis is recommended to be used as a priority, since it allows most patients to stop bleeding, reduce the risk of recurrence, the need for surgical intervention and overall mortality. This review presents the most commonly used methods of endohemostasis in practice and their use in non-variceal gastroduodenal bleeding of various etiologies.
