In general, the IT taxonomy is not suitable for the purposes of nuclear regulation. In particular, it is necessary to restore security related to nuclear security issues. For this reason, the taxonomy for nuclear power plants includes attack procedure, attack vector, attack consequences, vulnerability, and countermeasures. The systems used in nuclear power plants cannot update their security system attack lists via the worldwide network. This means that a taxonomy of cyber attacks for nuclear power plants is needed.
