A clinical case is devoted to the development of vascular parkinsonism after an infectious disease caused by a new coronavirus infection COVID-19. Data about the patient was taken by studying the patient's medical records, as well as conducting a neurological examination, analyzing complaints, anamnesis of the disease and life. During the examination of the patient, diagnostic errors were found in the verification of extrapyramidal pathology and in therapy. We made a diagnosis of secondary parkinsonism more appropriate to the patient's condition and prescribed treatment, which subsequently proved to be effective. The clinical example shows that after a coronavirus infection, not only Parkinson's disease can develop or worsen, but secondary types of parkinsonism can also develop.
