the article deals with the issues related to ensuring the quality of electricity in power supply systems. It is shown that the quality of electrical energy can be determined by the operation of equipment in electrical networks not only of electricity producers and suppliers, but also of this energy consumers. The occurrence of power quality indicators unacceptable values leads to negative consequences and disruptions in the electrical equipment operation of power supply organizations and consumer power receivers, which causes losses and other undesirable consequences in case of power quality violations. The article presents the values of the voltage asymmetry coefficients for the negative and zero sequences obtained by the authors in the course of work on electricity quality monitoring. These results indicate that the negative sequence voltage in electrical networks with a voltage of 0.38 kV has lower values than the zero sequence voltage. It is shown on a computer model of the simplest power supply system that with a different arrangement of sources, the zero-sequence voltage phase values differ sharply from each other. Therefore, the use of monitoring the values of both the absolute value and the phase of the zero sequence voltage can be used for accelerated electrical energy quality monitoring and obtaining reasonable information about finding a source of the zero sequence voltage large values.
