This study examines the relationship between the tendency to develop addictive behavior and socio-psychological factors in patients with addictions. Based on the analysis of data obtained as a result of studying groups of addicts and comparisons, a “portrait of an addict” was compiled, which potentially simplifies diagnosis and makes it possible, in the presence of certain patterns, with a high probability to suspect the patient’s predisposition to the formation of addiction.
