Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) continue to occupy a leading position in the structure of morbidity and mortality. The problem is global, causing significant damage to the health of the population and the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation as a whole. In economically developed countries, CVD is diagnosed on average in 230-250 cases per 1000 population. According to the data for 2021, the share of mortality in Russia from cardiovascular pathology is 44% of the total mortality.
There is no doubt about the relationship between the widespread prevalence of CVD and congenital pathology, which includes the syndrome of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD) [4]. The results of studies of changes in the morphofunctional state of platelets in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) on the background of UCTD, which led to stimulation of thrombocytopoiesis and a tendency to thrombosis, are presented [5]. Thus, UCTD is the background for the appearance and progression of pathology of the heart and blood vessels.
