The work shows that factors in expanding the distribution range of honey bees in the taiga zone of Russia are a number of aspects of human activity: general agricultural activities to transform indigenous coniferous ecosystems into agricultural land, forestry activities and the activities of the beekeeper to prevent diseases associated with the collection of nectar, which poses a risk of disease for bees.
In the Pskov region, there are trends towards a reduction in ecosystems suitable for bees and the development of beekeeping, and the environmental risks of developing diseases associated with nectar sources specific to the taiga zone are increasing.
