The problem of antibiotic resistance to antiprotozoal drugs in persons with psychiatric disorders is outlined for the first time. Studies on the relationship between antibiotic resistance and weakening of the immune status of the organism associated with the use of antipsychotic drugs are presented. The possibility of the influence of the studied factors on the composition of intestinal microflora is shown.
