SEXUAL FUNCTION OF WOMEN WITH PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE

The sexual function of 144 women of reproductive age was studied. The subjects were divided into 2 groups: women with genital prolapse and healthy women. The study was conducted by analyzing data obtained from determining the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI). It has been established that with pelvic organ prolapse, the frequency of sexual dysfunction is significantly higher than that in healthy women. In the presence of anatomical and functional manifestations of pelvic organ prolapse, there are no significant differences in the frequency of various states of sexual function depending on the degree of the disease.
