Bleeding is one of the most common complications in medical practice. In the practice of a dentist, bleeding can occur both as a result of the provision of a certain service, and as a complication of diseases of various systems and organs, as well as with congenital abnormalities of the blood coagulation system. In addition, patients receiving anticoagulant therapy are difficult. In this regard, it is important for dentists to be aware of the main pathologies that provoke bleeding in dental clinical practice, as well as methods of their prevention and treatment.
