The technology of poultry manure composting is considered for processing native, bedding and non-bedding poultry manure at poultry farm landfills in piles and dumps to produce organic matter with a system for supplying effluent to the pile and removing biogas. The main parameters and control indicators of the technological process are considered. Carrying out the technological process at negative ambient temperatures with large volumes of chicken manure increases the duration of the technological period. The speed of composting is increased by introducing native microflora of the effluent, using drainage wells and pipes for supplying effluent and removing biogas.
It has been shown that composting reduces the volume of bird droppings at the landfill by 30%, and an organic substance of the fifth hazard class with an increased content of total nitrogen is obtained. The technology can be used for processing native, litter and non-litter poultry manure at poultry farm landfills in piles and dumps, without purchasing specialized installations.
