In the article, the authors presented a model of a university graduate's portfolio in the context of the states of a finite deterministic automaton. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the deterministic finite state machine model has not previously been used to analyze the digital portrait of a university graduate. This is a new direction of research that can lead to the development of new methods and tools for analyzing and assessing the quality of education, as well as increasing the efficiency of educational processes. Using a Petri net, different scenarios for using the skills and competencies presented in the graduate’s portfolio were modeled. The use of a stochastic Petri net will help determine the level of qualifications, professional interests, as well as assess the ability to make decisions and solve problems in complex conditions.
