The purpose of this theoretical study was to analyze possible approaches to the hormonal correction of uterine fibroids. The results of the review of studies showed that hormone therapy is currently a promising treatment for uterine fibroids. This is a non-invasive method that alleviates the symptoms of the disease, which can also ensure the regression of uterine fibroids while preserving the uterus, improve the quality of life of a woman. Hormonal drugs are prescribed as a preoperative treatment for uterine fibroids, to stabilize the patient's condition and reduce the severity of possible side effects. Hormonal therapy includes hormonal contraceptives, tranexamic acid, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which reduce the amount of menstrual bleeding. Periodic control of the size of uterine fibroids, along with the use of hormonal regulation of uterine fibroids, is believed to be an effective way to reduce the health burden of this disease.
