This study thoroughly examines the foundational elements of Internet of Things (IoT) technology, with a focus on analyzing the potential economic benefits that can be achieved through its implementation in the agricultural sector. Modern agriculture faces the necessity of maximizing production efficiency and optimal use of available resources, and IoT offers unique opportunities to achieve these goals. Technologies based on the concept of the Internet of Things provide farmers with forward-looking solutions that contribute to a significant increase in production volumes and improvement in the quality of agricultural products. The integration of IoT into the agro-industrial complex signifies the creation of a network of interconnected devices and systems that automate the collection and analysis of data about soil conditions, weather conditions, crop health, and animal health. Thanks to this, farmers can timely make informed decisions about managing agricultural processes, such as irrigation, fertilization, pest and disease control, which directly contributes to increased yield and reduced operational costs.
