The safety of spontaneous childbirth in pregnant women with a uterine scar depends on the healing processes of the myometrium after cesarean section. The course of reparative processes, in turn, is determined by a large number of factors.
There is a need to study the microcirculation of scar tissue in order to determine the factors affecting the healing of the myometrium after cesarean section. The method of laser Doppler flowmetry allows for the noninvasive examination of microcirculation parameters, which is especially important for the diagnosis of apillary blood flow. The purpose of this study is to assess the state of microcirculation of scar tissue in the uterus after cesarean section by laser Doppler flowmetry.
Keywords:caesarean section; scar on the uterus; laser Doppler flowmetry (LDF); microcirculation of scar tissue
