This article is devoted to the analysis of modern network technologies with the main focus on heterogeneous networks. The article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of such networks, identifies the key problems they face, and presents opportunities for their further development. The study examines in detail the positive aspects of heterogeneous networks. However, attention is also drawn to difficulties and disadvantages. In addition, the main problems currently faced by heterogeneous networks are being investigated, such as optimizing resource management, improving performance and ensuring security. The article also examines the prospects for the development of heterogeneous networks in the future and identifies areas for further research aimed at overcoming the main problems and improving the efficiency and reliability of such networks.
