The results of bacteriological studies of urine and discharge from the cervical canal of 215 women with the threat of early termination of pregnancy were analyzed and reviewed. It has been established that the infectious factor during this period is not significant in the genesis of the threat and spontaneous termination of pregnancy. The necessity of widespread use of methods of bacteriological examination of the urinary tract and genital tract for the successful completion of the gestational process has been confirmed. It was determined that timely rehabilitation of foci of infection reduces the threat of miscarriage and significantly reduces gestational complications.
