SUGAR CONTENT OF OSCILLATORIA AGARDHII WHEN CULTURED UNDER DIFFERENT MEDIUM CONDITIONS

The article presents the results of a study on the specificity of sugar content in the culture of algae Oscillatoria agardhii in the water of lakes of various mineralization. It has been established that algae accumulates the highest concentrations of sugars in microelement-rich environments. Also, in cells developing in planktonic form, the sugar content is usually higher compared to the algobacterial mat formed from the culture on the bottom and walls of cultured containers.
