Financial process analysis is an important element in ensuring the efficiency and stability of organisations. Traditional analysis methods are often hampered by the volume and disparate nature of data. The implementation of process mining can automate the analysis, increase the understanding of the relationships between financial events and identify weaknesses in processes. This study aims to identify the challenges associated with integrating process mining into financial data analysis and develop recommendations to address them. The focus is on data quality, the complexity of extracting information from ERP systems and methods to improve the accuracy of analysis. The results show that the use of process mining helps to improve cash flow, enhance risk management and increase process transparency.
