COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CT, MRI AND ULTRASOUND IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF VARIOUS TMJ PATHOLOGIES

The article presents a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound (ultrasound) in the diagnosis of various diseases of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). The features of each imaging method are considered, including their advantages and limitations in the context of diagnostic accuracy. The authors emphasize that the choice of the research method should be based on specific clinical situations and individual characteristics of the patient. The results of the study emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to diagnosis, which may include several techniques. In conclusion, the article offers recommendations on the optimal use of imaging techniques to improve the accuracy of diagnosis of TMJ diseases.
