The article shows the role of neuropsychic stability in the process of adaptation of prisoners to new conditions. The state of the primary adaptation of convicts in the process of escort upon admission to places of punishment is determined. The data of the analysis of the study of the relationship between the results of assessing neuropsychic resistance by various methods are presented.
