PARADIGM AS A PROBLEM MODERN SOCIAL-HUMANITARIAN KNOWLEDGE

The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of paradigm in modern social science. The author shows that the term "paradigm" is clarified in the specific context of its use. The modern context is set by the works of T. Kuhn. But his interpretations relate mainly to natural science. The question of its application in social knowledge remains open. The use of the concept of a multi-paradigm also remains open. The problem is shifting from the field of samples and standards to the field of methodology for the description and study of complex objects that stimulate the development of specific techniques, tools and methods of research.
