THE INFLUENCE OF VIRTUAL REALITY ON MODERN MORAL CONSCIOUSNESS

This article analyzes the influence of virtual reality on the formation of modern moral consciousness. It examines in detail the features of VR as a new media form, its impact on the nature of social interactions, the transformation of traditional cultural industries under the influence of VR, the educational and scientific potential of VR, as well as related ethical issues and social risks. Both positive and negative aspects of the impact of virtual reality on the moral and ethical perceptions of a person are considered. Particular attention is paid to the issues of modeling moral dilemmas, as well as the problems of loss of connection with reality. The prerequisites for the need to develop ethical and legal norms to minimize threats and risks are analyzed.
