THE ROLE OF THE DEMOGRAPHIC FACTOR IN ENSURING THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THE SOCIAL SYSTEM

The role of demographic factor in ensuring socio-natural sustainability is revealed. The content of the phenomenon of demographic transition is ex-plained. The problems of technological immortality and modernization of aging from the position of social sustainability are considered. The prob-lem of transformation of the family institution at the present stage of soci-ety development is analyzed. The necessity of preserving the nuclear fami-ly and its expansion on the basis of traditional values to ensure sustaina-ble social reproduction is substantiated.
