COMPREHENSION OF SPEECH BY THE ADDRESSEE: COGNITIVE AND INTENTIONAL ASPECTS

The aim of the article is to analyze psychological and psycholinguistic research that reveals cognitive and intentional aspects of speech understanding. In relation to cognitive processes, the role of recognizing the intentions of speakers as a necessary component of mutual understanding and achieving communication goals is demonstrated. The question of defining discourse markers of speech intentions is highlighted, which is particularly relevant in today's information age. The task of verifying the markers of speech intentions, established by experts, using an experimental procedure for assessing understanding of statements, is set.
