REFLECTION OF THE PROBLEM OF SUSTAINABILITY IN ANCIENT PHILOSOPHY

Logical analysis of the concept of sustainability is carried out. The specificity of understanding of sustainability in dialectics is reflected. The process of formation of ontological ideas about the sustainability of the Cosmos in the natural philosophy of ancient Greece is considered. The fundamental factors ensuring the social system sustainability and principles of building a sustainable state in the works of thinkers of the classical period of ancient philosophy are revealed.
