Nuclear medicine is a relatively new and technologically advanced area of modern medicine. For the successful functioning of infrastructure and production complexes, it is necessary to maintain human resources, which is ensured by meeting the profile of personnel requirements. Difficulties in recruiting staff in this area are associated with the lack of targeted training programs and the need for doctors to obtain several qualifications. The problem of shortage of specialists in nuclear medicine is aggravated by stressful working conditions, due to heavy workload, high communicative activity and the cost of professional error. The purpose of this work was an empirical study of the need-motivational attitudes of nuclear medicine doctors with different levels of professional well-being who carry out their activities in different organizational conditions. In our study, we used questionnaires aimed at identifying the level of professional burnout and need-motivation attitudes. It turned out that representatives of nuclear medicine are significantly less focused on the process and on work compared to doctors of other fields. There were no significant differences in the phases of burnout and the degree of formation of symptoms of phases between the groups of managers and ordinary doctors, but a comparison of profiles by average indicators of burnout phases shows a less favorable picture on the part of burnout among ordinary doctors. The respondents, the organizers of healthcare, demonstrate a significantly greater focus on results than doctors who occupy ordinary positions. It was found that the higher the focus on selfishness and money, the higher the indicators for individual symptoms of professional burnout, the more pronounced the altruistic orientation in the doctor's activity, the more he is prone to the formation of such a symptom as "inadequate emotional response". The results of the conducted research, in our opinion, will allow a more reasonable approach to the formation of the profile of a nuclear medicine doctor and will preventatively influence the conditions that provoke a decrease in the level of professional well-being.
