GENRE DIVERSITY OF ACADEMIC MUSIC IN CHINA AT THE TURN OF THE 20TH AND 21ST CENTURIES: HISTORY OF THE ISSUE, INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL FACTORS

The article analyzes the evolution of Chinese academic music from ancient times to the present day, considers various genres that have become popular and in demand during this period. Particular attention is paid to the historical context, cultural influences and features of the development of academic music in China. An overview is given of the biographies and creative path of famous Chinese composers and musicians and their contribution to the development of academic music. The scientific novelty of the study lies in presenting a complete picture of the main genres of Chinese academic music at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries based on the analysis of the history of Chinese academic music, the influence of traditional culture and the culture of other countries through foreign education and international events.
