The purpose of the article is to analyze the state of Russian animation and its possibilities in the context of world culture, as well as to identify obstacles to its growth and integration into the international animation market.
The article examines the current state of the animation industry in Russia against the background of its historical development. Highlights the key successes and obstacles to integration into the global entertainment industry. An attempt is made to predict further steps that can redefine the place of Russian animation on the world stage.
The author concludes that Russian animation has the potential for a significant place in the world cultural arena, but its development is hampered by financial problems and a shortage of personnel. Successful projects give hope for a revival of interest in Russian animation as a unique cultural phenomenon that can compete in the international arena, provided that new technologies are integrated and a cross-cultural dialogue is opened.
