FEATURES OF THE TRANSFORMATION OF BUDDHIST COMMUNITIES IN RUSSIA

This article is devoted to the peculiarities of transformation of Buddhist communities in Russia. Development of Buddhist communities in Russia is in line with global trends. At the same time, in each case, the peculiarities of each region are preserved. The structure of communities is subject to constant changes. Social and cultural communities of the global level have a great influence on Buddhist communities in Russia. Buddhist organizations in Russia are divided into two types: traditional and global. Both types are in contact with each other, which is associated with a direct appeal to the spiritual values of their traditions. Today, Buddhist communities in Russia are constantly transforming. This is due to constant changes in many areas of life today. The scientific novelty of the work is that the considered transformations of Buddhist communities in Russia can provide reliable forecasts for the development of Buddhist communities that already exist or are just being formed in the Russian Federation.
