THE INFLUENCE OF THE MOTHER'S PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS ON THE EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

Family plays a key role in a child's emotional development and maturation. Based on the bioecological approach, it can be argued that the parenting style and the variety of personal characteristics of parents, and in particular the mother, significantly affects the healthy development of emotional management skills in children. The principles of parenting include a number of parental attitudes and behaviors towards parenting that reflect the quality of children's interaction with family members and their emotional well-being. The research in the article is aimed at studying the influence of mothers' personal characteristics on emotional management skills in children aged 7-8 years.
