The modern development of social relations is placed in new conditions, which requires rethinking both theoretical and practical within the framework of various fields. The relevance of the culturological analysis of the functioning of virtual museums is determined by the need for a new approach to the field of culture and its significance in the modern world, where information and communication technologies play an important role. The article emphasizes the presence of various kinds of problems and features of the functioning of virtual museums. The significance of the issue is related to the specifics and role of virtual reality in human life.
