Examination of industrial safety of buildings and installations on hazardous industrial facilities is an important area in the implementation of state policy in the field of industrial safety. Buildings and installations on hazardous production facilities are subjected to a wide range of different impacts during operation, including environmental factors, manufacturing processes, all kinds of interruptions during the construction and installation work, as well as insufficient and untimely monitoring of their technical condition within the operating organizations. That is the effect of the technical condition of buildings and installations on the general background of safety at work in general, and is responsible for the implementation of control through the examination of industrial safety. This article describes the main aspects of the examination of industrial safety of buildings and installations, the regulatory and technical documents regulating the procedure of the examination were analyzed. According to the analyzed data, it should be noted that examination of industrial safety of buildings and installation is quite different from the other areas in this direction and needs to be improved in order to increase the level of safety at hazardous production facilities
