PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF USING THE DIGITAL RUBLE IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

This article covers the characteristics of the essence of the digital ruble as a digital currency, the directions of its use in public administration, as well as problems and prospects in this area. The purpose of the work is to study and characterize the problems and prospects of using the digital ruble in public administration in Russia in modern conditions. According to the results of the study, the following problems of effective use of the digital ruble in public administration were identified: the likelihood of cyber attacks, security violations, the need to ensure the cybersecurity of state information systems and the protection of state information; insufficiently developed technological infrastructure and regulatory framework for the widespread use of the digital ruble, resistance from the population. Based on this, some directions are proposed to solve the identified problems, including investments in modern security technologies and constant updating of systems, in the development of technological infrastructure, further refinement of the regulatory framework, the introduction of educational programs and activities to increase financial literacy and trust of citizens. The article also examines the prospects of the digital ruble as a state tool for strengthening Russia's economic ties, using the example of countries such as China and India, which will create more efficient and secure ways of conducting international settlements.
