PROSPECTS OF IMPORT SUBSTITUTION DEVELOPMENT IN AIRCRAFT ENGINE BUILDING

The purpose of the article is to analyse the prospects for the development of import substitution in aircraft engine building. The author used the methods of system and comparative analysis, the method of analysis of scientific literature, the method of statistical data analysis and the graphical method. The results of the study include the analysis of the implementation of import substitution and import substitution programmes for the development of aircraft engines. The dependence of domestic aircraft engine building on foreign components in the current conditions has been determined. It is concluded that the high-tech industrial base of aircraft engine building should function on the basis of integrated interrelations of science, production, education, aviation industry clusters, qualified personnel and active measures of state support. Such an approach stimulates innovative developments and ensures a high level of implementation of import substitution and importation programmes within the framework of creation of aircraft engines of high quality, providing the country with a strategic competitive advantage in the world markets.
