THE POTENTIAL OF A PERSON AND COMMUNITY AS A CATEGORY OF HUMANITARIAN SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE

The increasing tension of the modern world, characterized by globalist trends, the development of differences in the mentalities of communities, the expanding information noise, the growing importance of artificial intelligence, etc., increases the number of social and psychological problems that complicate people's lives and the state of communities. The key to solving these problems is to use the enormous potential of a person, as well as social groups. Potential research in the humanities is traditionally carried out in two directions – the study of the potential of the individual and the potential of communities. The category of potential, from the point of view of humanitarian knowledge, reflects, in our opinion, the common characteristics of the two named areas. The potential of a person and a community is considered in this article based on its components: resource and dynamic, and is defined as the tension (mental energy) between the resources of a person or community and the possibility of using these resources.
