FORMATION OF GRAMMATICAL SKILLS OF BASIC SCHOOL PUPILS AT ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS AND DETERMINATION OF THEIR LEVEL OF FORMATION

The introduction of new federal state educational standards has influenced both the process of grammar skills formation and approaches to assessing the level of grammar skills formation. The analysis of Russian and foreign literature has shown the high level of importance that Russian and foreign scientists define grammar. Modern requirements to the level of formation of grammatical skills set new tasks for both the scientific community and practicing teachers. All new approaches and means are proposed that contribute to a more effective mastering of grammatical material by students. One of the most promising directions is to take into account individual characteristics of students when working with grammatical material.
