THE TATAR CHARİTİES DURİNG THE FİRST WORLD WAR

The relevance of the investigated problem is caused by the need of examination and usage the experience of pre-revolutionary activities of various social organizations, including charities. The purpose of the article is to review the formation and activities of the Tatar charities during the First World War. The main methods of the study were source analysis of sources, systematization and generalization of factual material, a contrastive-comparative method. The study of archival materials not only expanded the understanding of the relation of the Tatar society in the war but also allowed to show the activities of the Interim Committee of the Muslim, revealing the contradictory nature of the interactions between the government and the Tatar charitable organizations during the First World War. Article Submissions may be useful in the study of the course "History of Russia" and the history of the Tatar people.
