The stylistic aspect of creating an artistic image of the character (based on the creativity of Thomas Mayne Reid)

The article deals with such stylistic devices as metaphor, metonymy and simili for creating the visual image of the character by the author. Creating a character portrait art is a type of description as a form of variable context-division of the text. Studying description of the portrait, which is formed over a rather long text, or text segments is very important when considering the interaction of description, narrative and discourse. This interaction is seen as one way of opening the deep content of the image.
