Comp. of the Innovative Development of the Region

The article gives the analysis of the existing components of the innovative development of the Arkhangelsk region. Priority activities aimed to the intensive development of economy and social sphere are defined. Among the estimated «points of growth» the formation of industrial clusters is considered. Along with the innovative shipbuilding and other industrial territorial clusters it is determined the importance of the formation of the tourist-recreational cluster. The richest historical and cultural potential of the Arkhangelsk region is considered as a factor of development and a competitive advantage of the region.
