Social activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

This article is dedicated to analysis of the impact of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church on society. The main aspects of social activities of the church were being analyzed. The need for the assistance of the state authorities to resolve the major problem points that are the result of secularization were identified and justified. On the basis of church charity work analysis the degree of social development of modern society is determined.
