Problems of formation and development of grass-root network of consumer cooperation in the cities of siberia in the beginning of XX century: cooperative "Saving" in Novonikolayevsk

On the basis of a wide range of sources the article presents the process of forming a grass-root network of consumer cooperation in the cities of Siberia in the second half of the XIX – beginning of XX centuries. The author investigates the organizational-economic development of the large urban consumer cooperative of Siberia in the city Novonikolayevsk of the Tomsk province in the 1912–1920, considers its social composition, trade, industrial and cultural-educational activities.
