General characteristics of the level of development of industry Kazan province to the base of stearic-soap factory brothers Krestovnikovs in 1855

The article analyzes the level of industrial development Kazan province to the base stearic- soap factory brothers Krestovnikovs. Author recorded the absence of large industrial enterprises in the Kazan province despite the rise in Russia in 30-40-ies of the XIX century industrial revolution. Marked by a low level of development of industrial enterprises that existed on the territory of the Kazan province to 1855. It is concluded that qualitative difference venture brothers Krestovnikovs Kazan from industrial plants existing there.
