Context technologies in teaching esp to master degree students of the financial university under the government of the Russian Federation

The article shows how simulations of academic, business and professional communication can be used to teach ESP and develop intercultural linguistic professional competence of students sitting for Master degree in Economics and Finance. Context technologies can also be used in controlling learning process. The article focuses on the selections of contexts in order to meet career aspirations of students in finance and accounting. Special emphasis is placed on the issues of using in the course the materials for preparation for international English language exams BEC and ICFE.
