Individual psychological characteristics of modern teenagers who are inclined to internet addiction

The article is concerned with the individual psychological characteristics of modern teenagers who are inclined to internet addiction. This issue is addressed through the description of the impact of information technologies on such spheres of the psyche of the human being (teenager) as (need)motivational, emotional-affective and communicative. It is analyzed the most characteristic personality traits of the teenager with internet addiction, beginning with violation of thecommunication out of the Internet and ending with over-hedonism and narcissism. The article also described the new type of thinking, called clip thinking (or so called MTV vision). It is dealt with the negative aspects of such thinking in the view of his impact on the teenager with internet addiction. In addition, special attention is paid to the issue of the global web directory, the mobile revolution, the various mass phenomena (social networks, selfie- epidemic) and other actual problems faced not only by teenagers, but also the whole of humanity who is actively use information technology their daily lives.
